The Chinese have long been known for their skill and workmanship in designing furniture, but it is in the area of chair design and construction that they are real masters. They specialise in simple designs that are extremely comfortable. Both modern and antique chairs are featured. Although they look like hard wooden chairs, their design is such that they give superb support, to the lower back and as a result are some of the most comfortable chairs to be found. Most people are pleasantly surprised when they sit in them.
