Antique window panel coffee table

This lovely antique Chinese table has a modern surround enclosing a beautiful antique window panel. It came from Sichuan province in China along the Yangtze River. It is made from Chinese Elm and dates from the late 19th century.

The carving on the panel is particularly fine and is protected by a piece of strong glass.
