Antique rattan Chinese hat box

A most unusual rattan Chinese Antique hat box. It is domed in several heights to fit the hat it contained. This particular Chinese box comes from Shanxi in China and is excellent condition, rarely found in items of this type and age as old rattan usually deteriorates so badly. It has a leather base inside. It has a large brass lock and hinge.
