Antique glass topped Fujian pedestal table

A beautiful glass topped antique Chinese table which is heavily carved and covered in black, gold and red cinnabar lacquer. This piece has exquisite carving particularly under the glass.

The antique Chinese table has beautifully shaped legs and there is a small shelf formed from cross bars at the bottom. It is made from Camphor wood and dates from the early 19th century. The glass top is modern to protect the beautiful carving. It originated in Fujian.
