Antique painted Chinese cabinet

A stunning elegant Ningbo Chinese cabinet. It has no carving but relies for its beauty the stunning lacquered doors and drawer fronts, decorated with flowers. The drawers have no handles. They are constructed so that pushing one drawer will open another. Inside there is one adjustable shelf with 2 drawers at the bottom. It is made from Pine, Elm and Yew and dates from the early 19th century. The handles and fixings are brass.
