Antique Chinese black lacquered A-frame butterfly cabinet.

An elegant black lacquered A-frame butterfly cabinet. It has very elegant uncluttered lines and has no carving. There is a lovely brass design forming a butterfly. In addition there is added lacquer work in gold all around the edge of the doors. Beneath the two main doors are two drawers. Inside is a shelf and two more drawers. The inside of the doors are painted. It was made in Fujian in the early 19th century. The wood is Pine. This lovely cabinet is a joy to behold and would grace any home.
