Antique Rice or corn scoop

A wonderful antique Chinese rice scoop. It originated in Shanxi province and was made in the late 19th century. It is made from Pine. It shows signs of wear and tear and some repair consistent with its age and purpose in a rice or grain store. It would make an ideal toilet roll holder if hung on the wall.
